Digitronik Labs is an industrial systems innovator
You read that right. We are more than an integrator; innovation is in our blood. We work with manufacturers of all shapes and sizes, helping chart a course to a more productive future. Continuous improvement is the name of the game: boosting efficiency, slashing costs, and removing blockers to success. Modernization of existing systems and processes is crucial to maintaining American competitiveness, and Digitronik Labs is helping lead the way.
Helping manufacturers prepare for tomorrow, today
For some of our customers, modernization means upgrading or retrofitting the critical automation and machine tools that have a direct impact on day-to-day performance and profitability. These systems will last for decades, but just like your car or house, certain components need to be refreshed regularly to maintain peak performance. Your operation depends on its capital investments, and Digitronik will make sure they keep pumping out quality product well into the future.
For other customers, modernization is connecting the dots between siloed systems and processes to streamline workflow, capture and utilize data, and eliminate wasted time. In the information age, Industry 4.0 initiatives enable full integration of all the systems that run your plant, from the shop floor to the top floor. That means improving productivity for operators and managers, achieving full traceability and regulatory compliance, and gaining the insight to track goals and justify process improvements.
A powerful partner
Our magical formula for producing value for manufacturers is simple: we love solving design and engineering challenges, and we’re really great at it. For a small team, we have an outsized amount of expertise and talent that lets us tackle complex integration projects with confidence. Call us masochistic, but the harder the problem, the more excited we are for the opportunity to work on it. Why? Because it’s gratifying to have an impact on the industries that provide for humanity. And also because it’s really fun.
How it all started
In 2005, founding partner Shawn Mott was already applying his passion for problem solving through his contracting work on various industrial integration projects. After meeting Chris Coon at the University of Rochester’s Laboratory for Laser Energetics, the pair joined forces to develop embedded instruments full time. David Coon and Stephen Mokey soon rounded out the team with backgrounds in software and design, and when the four incorporated as partners in 2011, Digitronik Labs was born.
By 2015, it became clear that the role of the industrial systems integrator is evolving. For this new breed of integrator, electrical controls skills are necessary, but are no longer sufficient; the technological lines between machines, software, information technology, and the internet were beginning to blur. Digitronik recognized this need, and our hunger for juicy problems led us straight to one of the largest challenges facing American manufacturers: modernizing legacy systems and processes.
So, there you have it. Our team has grown and changed since the early days, but our mission remains the same: to provide American manufacturers with the resources they need to modernize, grow, and compete in a global economy.
Digitronik Labs is proud to serve the businesses that feed, clothe, and shelter the world.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
